First Visit - Introduction

Please be ready for your appointment we have several forms that take time to fully complete. Including lists of medications, physicians, dentists, allied healthcare providers. The information you provide us allows better and safer treatment.
Please also arrange for your general dentist to forward any current x-rays to our office (in time for your appointment).
Limited examination, consultation / discussion of findings and establish an understanding of your dental condition and your goals for treatment
Digital scans/ impressions of your teeth
X-rays may be required at this appointment. (ie, non-current and non-diagnostic images, panoramic radiograph, CT may be re-taken)

Records / comprehensive (prosthodontic) exam

Additional discussion and diagnostic information gathering, when specific need or complexity requires multi-stage evaluation.

Consultation/ presentation of recommended treatment, risks and benefits of treatment and alternatives.

You should feel you understand your dental condition in greater detail, along with treatment options available and their costs and associated implications following this appointment. (At times this can be a separate appointment where additional clairfication of explation of your condition and or treamtents is requested or required)

What to expect - referral for implant surgery only

- Examination, consultation / discussion of findings and establish what is required for your condition.
- You should expect to have a Cone Beam CT Scan taken if one is not available and current, to allow for evaluation of bone structure.
- Discussion of procedures, timelines and fees for treatment.
